Angeline "Angy" Wimer

Angeline “Angy” Wimer, age 94, passed away on July 12, 2016. 

Born in Pennsylvania, she retired from Isaly’s and also volunteered at Western Reserve Hospital where she was head of the Hospital Volunteer Guild. Angy enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family. 

Preceded in death by her son, Robert Taylor; daughter, Carol Taylor; and grandson, Robert Strittmatter, she is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Raymond; daughters, Martha Brophy, Kathy Huff, Beatrice (Raoule) Platt and Linda (Mike) Nelson; son, Tom Taylor; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. 

Friends and family will be received Monday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Michael T. Wimer officiating. Private burial will be held. The family suggests memorials to River of Life Christian Outreach Ministry, P.O. Box 64, Wampum, PA 16157.
