Alma M. Cosner

Alma M. Cosner, age 92, passed away on November 21, 2014.

Born in Akron, Alma was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed playing cards with her buddies, shopping for all the latest fashions, and especially spending time with her family.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband, James “Phil”; and daughter, Pamela A., and is survived by son, James E.; daughter, Susan (Jay) Morgart; grandchildren, Angie, Scott (Julie), Michael, Kellie (Brian) and Christopher (Marci); great-grandchildren, Johanna, Tyler, Zoe and Camilla; sister, Pearl Morris; and niece, Joan (Jim) Palmeri.

Funeral service will be held Monday, 12 noon at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron, Ohio 44312, with Pastor Anthony DiMarco officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday.
