Allen Verne Kenngott, 62 years young, of Mogadore, Ohio passed away on April 30, 2017. He will be forever loved and missed by Catherine (nee Redig) his ‘young bride’ of 33 years, and their children Max, Maria and Sarah, whom he cherished most of all.
Preceded in death by his father, Milton, he also leaves behind a wonderful family starting with his mother, Alice; brother, Max (Debbie); sisters, Carolyn (Gus) Johnson, Melanie Smethers (Kenngott), Cindy (Alan) Kenngott, Christine (Melissa) Kenngott; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Allen lived life to its fullest. His joie de vivre was present in everything he did. From painting masterpieces to creating delicious peanut butter barbecue sauce for the annual New Year’s Eve pork and sauerkraut, Allen loved life. He was employed at First Energy for close to 20 years. Allen's most recent joy was singing Irish pub songs and playing bodhran with Celtic Rush. Known as the ‘Best Bodhran Player in the World’ and recently awarded ‘Best Bonnie Knees’ by his fans, this gentle man of quiet humor will be forever missed.
