Agnes B. Taylor

Agnes B. Taylor, age 87, passed away on August 30, 2013.

Born in Wise, Va., she lived most of her life in the Springfield Township/Tallmadge area. Agnes was a member of Chapel of Prayer Independent Baptist Church, and loved flowers, gardening, and decorating for all holidays. She loved her family and will be dearly missed.

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul; parents, William “Cleve” and Lillie Mullins; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by children, Phyllis Taylor, Wayne (Sabrina) Taylor, Stephen Taylor, Sheri LaGuardia; grandchildren, Nathan (Delaney) Taylor, Sara (Brandon) Drain, Patrick, Evan, Damian, Lily and Mario LaGuardia; great-grandchildren, Gideon, Nathanael, Helen and one on the way; sister, June Mullins; and her special cats, Simon and Thomas. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Hospice of Summa for their loving care of Agnes.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, with Pastor Sherman L. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, and also from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main Street, P.O.
