Adda Ruth "Toot" Beeler, 83, passed away April 2, 2012.
Born in Akron, she grew up in Randolph and lived in Mogadore most of her life. Adda Ruth was employed as an operator at Ohio Bell, a hostess/cashier for Holiday Inn Express, and also helped at Michelli's Restaurant. She was a member of Family of Faith United Methodist Church.
Adda Ruth was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Family was her life, and playing cards with them as another joy of hers.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Archer; brother, Bill Archer; and husband, Charles A. Beeler, she is survived by son, Garry J. (Kathy) Miller; daughters, Becky (Bill) Richards and Donna (Brian) Yackey; grandchildren, Jeremey (Heather) and Adam (Yvonne) Fisher, Deanna Brunty, Brian (Randi), Aubrey and Eric Richards, and Steven and Brandon Yackey; great-grandchildren, Austin, Jordan, Taylor and Nathan Fisher, Terry and Zach Brunty; sister, Jeanne Baylor; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Chapel Hill Community for their care of Adda Ruth.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, 1 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Ave., MOGADORE 44260, with Rev. Sandra Hutchinson officiating. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and also from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Mercy Medical Center Hospice, 7568 Whipple Ave. N.W., North Canton, OH 44720.
